When a border is placed, it is an act of violence, that ripples through time for generations...Corporations know no borders. Only labor. and that's wrong. Thanks for this column.
I find it sad that some Iowa Republican politicians now demagogue against refugees. Thinking in particular of pols who said we should not accept any refugees from Syria in the last decade, and from Gaza more recently.

The refugees are courageous and hardworking.
